JCC UPDATE 6.11.21 | RE: MASK POLICY AT THE JCC
Since reopening the JCC facility in June 2020, JCC staff and volunteers have worked diligently to abide by all CDC and Pennsylvania state guidelines with relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our members, program participants and staff is – and always will be – our top priority.
Beginning Monday, June 14th, the JCC will no longer require mask wearing for fully vaccinated individuals in our fitness center, exercise classes, swimming pool, or courts. For the safety of our community, we ask that masks continue to be worn throughout the rest of the facility including locker rooms/health club (when possible), common areas, main lobby level, and our Early Learning Center on the upper level.
You are fully vaccinated if:
- It’s been at least two (2) weeks after you received your second dose in a two-dose series | Pfizer or Moderna vaccines
- It’s been at least two (2) weeks after a single-dose vaccine | Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
If you do not meet these requirements, you are not considered fully vaccinated and are required to continue to wear a mask at all times (except while in the pool). The JCC is relying on the honesty of our members/clients to abide by the updates of our mask policy.
All JCC staff will continue to wear masks while in the building. Thank you for working together with us to keep the JCC a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all.
