- Details: This vintage Singer Manufacturing Co. storage tin brings lots of charm to any collection. Crafted with iridescent metallic colors like pink, yellow, green and blue, on a black background. The lid has a wonderful image of an old Singer foot pedal sewing machine and the rim is decorated with iridescent florals. Made by Bristol Ware, it is round, and showcases the iconic Singer brand—a hallmark of quality sewing heritage. The back reads: "A Trademark of The Singer Company, Bristol Ware, Farmingdale, NY 11735, Made in China". We learned that Bristol Ware made tins in China up to the 1980's, and perhaps into the 90's, we've dated this piece accordingly. There is a minor condition issue, please see below for details. Perfect for collectors of advertising memorabilia, promotional items, and sewing machine ephemera, this discontinued piece combines nostalgic appeal with practical storage for pins, buttons or other small items. The shimmering finish and period sewing machine image make it a striking display piece for a sewing room, and vintage enthusiasts.
