Our Onion & Garlic Smart™ Container was developed following research on how to minimize sprouting, condensation, rotting, and odors during storage. It maintains the right humidity for maximizing the freshness of your onions, garlic, and shallots. Plus, loose peels stay inside the box, keeping your pantry or counter clean!

Includes one 5½-qt./5.5 L container and one vented lid.

DESCRIPTION

The cover of our uniquely designed onion and garlic storage container features optimally sized holes for proper air circulation to protect onions, garlic, and shallots. This optimal atmosphere inside the Onion & Garlic Smart™ ensures proper humidity for minimizing weight loss, helping produce remain firm.*

The container's opaque base shields contents from outside light, extending the life of your bulb vegetables, and its user-friendly design features a large opening to allow convenient access to your fresh onions and garlic.

Pair it with our Potato Smart™ Container and Garlic 'N All Keeper for a matching set on your countertop or in your pantry. For convenience, they can be stacked to suit your usage.

Onion & Garlic Smart™ can store up to 5 lbs./2.5 kg of produce.

Onion types: 

• Onions usually come in three colors: yellow, red, and white. 
• Yellow onions are full-flavored and a reliable standby for cooking almost anything. Yellow onions turn a rich, dark brown when cooked. 
• The red onion is a good choice for fresh dishes or in grilling and charbroiling. 
• White onions are the traditional onion used in classic Mexican cuisine. They have a golden color and sweet flavor when sautéed.
