A flatwater tripping canoe rooted in genuine Canadian heritage, the H2O Canadian 16'6" Brute Force draws its lines from early settler and First Nations canoe traditions and backs them up with a tough, impact-ready composite construction built for hard use.
The symmetrical hull and re-curved ends reflect a design language refined over generations of paddling Canadian waterways. H2O pairs that traditional form with a shallow arch hull and shoe keel, a combination that's genuinely difficult to get right. The shoe keel aids tracking and offers real protection against grounding on rocky lake bottoms, while giving up very little in maneuverability. Sharp entry and exit lines and a lower sheer profile help the hull cut through headwinds and cover open water efficiently without demanding excessive effort from the paddler.
Where the Pro-Lite series prioritises ultralight performance, the Brute Force epoxy lamination is built for paddlers who put their canoes through the wringer. Rocks, roots, rough landings, and loaded portages are no match for this layup. Available in Innegra/Basalt, Kevlar, Carbon/Kevlar, and Carbon/Innegra, the Brute Force Canadian 16'6" comes in between 44 and 48 lbs depending on your build, giving you a canoe that's still manageable on the carry while being genuinely resilient on the water.
