BEYOND CHILD CARE
The JCC ELC is a state of the art, secure, controlled-access childcare facility that recognizes the distinctive needs of working parents and their children. At the JCC, we are focused on keeping your child happy, engaged and safe. Our programs place children in classrooms by age group to provide a warm and supportive environment and the very best individualized care. While our curriculum is driven by the Jewish values of kindness, respect, compassion, confidence and responsibility, we warmly welcome children of all faiths, ethnicities and backgrounds.
Our caregivers and teachers are experienced, nurturing child development professionals who focus on providing age-appropriate programs and activities to help your child discover, learn and grow. In addition to academic and social development, your child will benefit from weekly swimming instruction in the pool, gym time led by a recreational specialist and plenty of fresh air and physical activity.
The JCC ELC offers reasonable rates and flexible scheduling, including full and part time availability. We are conveniently located just blocks away from Scranton city center, the University of Scranton, area hospitals, Lackawanna College and Commonwealth Medical College.

- There is a one-time registration fee of $25 per child at the time of enrollment.
- Daily Fees: 3-day minimum for enrollment.
- There is no charge for child care on dates the JCC is closed for Jewish holidays.
- Childcare clients who join the JCC as family members will receive one free package of swim lessons for each child in your family up to age 13.
